I was really happy with the outfit I got from Historical Clothing Realm. Their prices beat those of the other sites. My only suggestion would be to include some close-up images of the products along with a more thorough description, like the sizes and color choices available.

I got great assistance with my purchases thanks to the online chat with the sales team, who were super helpful with my inquiries. There were a few issues with the packaging of my item, and it ended up getting damaged in transit. However, the customer service and shipping staff were really supportive and quick to respond.

"Amazing Shirt and Customer Experience"
I picked up this shirt for the Texas Renaissance Festival happening this weekend. After checking out the reviews, I figured it would fit perfectly with my Pirate getup (the term costume just doesn’t cut it). The shirt showed up in just a few days and it’s stunning and really flattering. I’m wearing a corset over it, and when I tried it on for my husband, I thought his eyes were about to pop out! At first, I was a bit bummed when the other couple going to the TX Ren Fest mentioned they had costumes, but then I discovered this shirt, and it totally sparked a fantastic outfit idea. When I revealed it to my friend who had already gotten their costumes, she exclaimed, "I’m gonna have to up my game!" I’m so excited for the TX Ren Fest!

"Customer Service That Drives You Up the Wall"
I took a bus from London to Paris back in early April '18, planning to hop on a train to Handaye and then Madrid. I figured I had loads of time, nearly two hours, to get from Bercy to Montparnasse, which is just a short 30-minute ride. But things started to go south when I received an email days before my trip, letting me know the bus would be delayed by 45 minutes. That was the only bus I could catch to make my train, so I was stuck either accepting the delay or scrapping the whole journey (both train and bus tickets) without any compensation.
On the actual travel day, it got even worse. The toilet was out of order on a 9-hour overnight ride! Then, we took ages to leave London and ended up lost in Canterbury, having to backtrack for about 20 minutes. This caused us to miss our scheduled ferry, which only added to the delays. When we finally reached Calais, the bus driver made a blunder and had to turn back to the Port to pick someone up after we had already left the city. We rolled into Paris at 8:20 AM instead of the planned 6 AM, and I missed my train.
The customer service in Paris handed me a luggage tag with a phone number to call. When I reached out, they said they would refund the cost of the train ticket I lost. I had to shell out for an expensive plane ticket right away to get to my destination. I contacted Ouibus after I arrived, and they took weeks to respond (!!!), saying they wouldn’t refund anything but would send a voucher as compensation. A month later, I’m still waiting for that voucher, and my patience is wearing thin.
I've used Ouibus a few times before (like on the Paris-London route) without any issues, but this experience was a nightmare. It feels like a roll of the dice. Seriously, avoid it if you need to make connections or want a dependable service, because it just isn’t reliable.
Delays can happen, but the blatant disregard for customers and the awful service means I won’t be traveling with them again.

I'm really into my Roman centurion getup. It's not just any old costume. I feel like Cornelius from the Bible. Other costumes to consider could be the Lone Ranger or Batman.

"Great Item"
I got myself a scabbard for LARPing that comes with belt loops for a little dagger. The delivery was speedy and everything was in great shape. I was really taken by the quality of the leather and the fur lining on the inside. Plus, it looks fantastic!

Everything arrived fast and in great shape. I've noticed some of the stuff I picked up here being sold elsewhere for triple the cost.

"Extremely let down"
I got my sword holder on Wednesday, October 28th. The rivets that were supposed to secure the leather straps were attached so badly that they fell off in my hand. I had to fix it right out of the package because I needed it for Friday. If I had more time, I would’ve sent it back and looked for a different seller.
On a brighter note, the pirate belt I ordered was just as described and functioned perfectly.

"Sizing is Key!"
I really love these items. My only issue is that I measured myself a bunch of times before placing my order to make sure the pieces would fit right. Sadly, there are not many "sizing charts" on this site that I could use to guess what size would work for me. When I tried on the items, they were just way too big! I’d suggest going smaller than your actual measurements for a chemise and the gown. My measurements are 42.5 bust/40 waist/42.5 hip, so I ordered the L/XL, and I felt like I was swimming in fabric. I’ve decided to get it tailored to my exact size for my next Faire event. Aside from the sizing issue, shipping was quick, the material is great, and it looks fantastic! Thanks!
